Think long and hard before you go there. It’s not a good place.

Where is everyone..

Go have a beer or cocktail at lafittes blacksmith bar..
Read history on napoleon house and lafittes when you are there.. pascals pretty old school also.

For fun the aquarium is great and in river walk area… war museum is great and in area.. zoo is good but takes a day.. you can take a boat ride from the quarter to the zoo and make it a day event

Walk on royal street in the quarter during the day to look at the shops…there use to be a gun shop by the Nola police headquarters in quarter. Antique muskets and civil war stuff..
have fun…stay safe

Stay away from the quarter muff. That muff will require as much penicillin as Auburn Muff.

And walk over to the Hilton and get a dozen broiled oysters at Dragos.

So many good places to eat, it’s hard to say without knowing your budget. Commander’s Palace is the gold standard. Antoine’s is historical and very good. For a more local place, Jacques Imo’s is loud but fun.

In the Quarter try Chartres House. Outside the Quarter Willie Mae's Scotch House or Dooky Chase for Local\Soul Food .

Take the St Charles Street Car all the way to Carrolton and eat at Camilia Grill.

You’ll want to spend a whole day there. The place is gigantic.
