I literally have no idea if you're referring to a vehicle, a wiener lube, or a hair care product.

None of the above!

After World War II it was not uncommon to have peanut butter + strawberry sandwiches (on the whitest of white bread). It was not segregated like the jar in the pic above but was mixed together in a compound that looked like axel grease and had a similar viscosity.

If you were poor and grew up in the South, it was a staple and in my personal view, delicious! It was a comfort food of that age like Mac & Cheese is to kids today.
