This is only half true. Drunk people may be more likely to say things they normally wouldn't but it's not always the truth. Haven't seen a lot of drunk drivers telling the truth when asked, "how much have you had to drink tonight" or when they get caught, by their significant other, trying to feel up some other chick in the bar.
