I went to Dickson Street late last night with a few people. I hadn't done that in a while, maybe a year. Dickson St doesn't go full "college" until around 11pm.

I felt like I was in Seattle in 1992. Every young person looked like they were aping grunge fashion. I mean everywhere. Even the pretty girls. It was disturbing.

Also, there were fire-eaters/jugglers and all manner of street performers and musicians, like before Dickson was gentrified in the late 1990s.

I felt like I went through a time-warp.

Is grunge back?

Nah, its probably a temporary soap shortage. Give everyone time to take a shower and all that will vanish.

Interesting.

Would that excite you, or repulse you ?

Women's armpit hair is repulsive.

There’s a very specific time for it I used to be repulsed by the thought of it but realized when you hit that tight earthy girl who liked to bathe with soap then the armpit hair is not that big a deal.

I didn't see any. Friend and I walked around into a few bars, and both were amazed at how "hipster" had turned into grunge style everywhere.

Following the trend of "mom jeans" shorts, I notice the young ladies are back to the super-straight, Alicia Silverstone in Aerosmith vidos, hair. I like that.

Definitely. Even the baggier jeans are back with the trendier kids.

Went to a local fair a year or two ago and all the girls had jean shorts, doc martins, tank tops or tshirts and flannels. My wife was like god I hope 90s grunge isnt back

There's real folks who purposely go against materialism, and they truly wear things they bought on consignment

Then there's the fakes who spent huge amounts of money on trendy clothes that look "hippy"

It never left. Just like Kurt Cobain.
