Venison Confusion: Backstrap vs. Tenderloin
Just reading the discussion. I don't hunt deer, so I wasn't sure if you guys were talking about the same piece of meat.
Still not sure, since they are different pieces of meat, but some people use them interchangeably anyway.

It would seem we do ignore the tenderloin. Next time I get a deer I'll have to get those.
