Afternoon All

Got a 2 inch dusting and that was it. Still a chance for 6-12 inches "OF SNOW" overnight. Know how some of you Heathens think.

Did I tell you guys I hurt myself? I exercised too much a couple of Fridays ago and popped some internal stitches. Doc said it was "probably" healed enough to not worry about it, just not to exercise much till it felt better. I still can't do much. I have set my recovery back a few weeks I'm afraid. Ugh.

Hate to hear that. I bet I would have put myself in the same situation trying to rehabilitate myself so I could get back to my normal routine.
I'm impatient too when it comes to rehab. Ive had 2 knee surgeries and 2 back surgeries and have had some set backs from overdoing it.

You guys be safe. Not the kind of weather for pushing yourself too hard if you’re already a bit compromised.
Roughneck, I know you are glad the calving barn is ready and available

Glad our meteorologist were wrong we didn't get as much as they forecast. Still a pain in the donkey to feed in.

I think I'm still okay this morning. I took 1/2 pain pill last night, just in case

Australia is the Great Value United States. It's a large country, roughly the size of the contiguous US, that is blessed by a super abundance of mineral wealth.

It is only missing one thing... arable land. When you get right down to it the vast majority of the country is either a barren desert or semi-arid regions. Oh, and swamps along the Northern coastline. People need food and water, and those are in short supply other than a few coastal regions. Sydney is blessed with one of the great natural harbors in the world and plenty of farmland.

The Aussies are good at agriculture, they've made a fortune selling livestock and produce to Asia after the numerous Asian-US trade wars, but there is a fairly low limit to just how many people Australia can sustain.

Yes, being outside when it's 7 degrees and windchill of -13 is great! It was funny, last night after running my snow blower for 1.5 hours, the first thing I did when I went inside was put ice on it, lol.
