The last forecast I saw said mostly snow (I can live with that) but with the chance for some ice. Plan for the worst!

Though ice isn't that bad here in the Roger's area. Fayetteville, however, phew... ice and those hills do not mix.

We mostly don't have above ground lines now, and much fewer utility poles along with that

So this won't be like we went through with the tornadoes two May's ago, just have to be ready for tree limbs. Imma finna need to get to Home Depot today and get some chainsaw oil and fill up the gas can

As hard as it for folks to believe we have learned some hard lessons. Mostly what scares me isn't the snow and ice... its the other people on snow and ice.

Rough here from wind and 16 degrees but no snow yet
Critters got butts to the wind -won’t go in the barn

At least you are giving them the choice. Horses behind our house have no cover, but they might get taken in when the snow starts

We have a bit more than a dandruff snow here at the moment, maybe a half inch but probably closer to a quarter.

The problem, however, is in the details. We're going to be getting more snow and it will be several days before it starts to melt. Accumulation is not our friend. I hope everyone has essentials stockpiled.

Our forecast has revised a bit down to 6-8 inches today and 1-3 tomorrow. We'll see what holds.

I'm hoping y'all just get a light dandruff of snow that you can take nice pictures of. Snow and ice are not a good combo for someone rehabbing from knee surgery.

Yeah, I will be shoveling, but I do have a snow blower, but not really looking forward to any of it, especially ice.
