It's actually the other way around. I like being around drunk people, since then they show you who they really are below the surface. If they're a nice person, then they tend to be a nice drunk. If they're terrible deep down but good at hiding it when sober, then you'll see them be an absolute animal when they get drunk.

I don't drink, smoke or do drugs. Life is interesting and I don't want to dull it. The flu, colds and other illnesses do enough of that.
ETA: I have no objections whatsoever to other people drinking, smoking or doing drugs. Just isn't for me.
