I'm home now. The procedure wasn't so bad but good god are my balls aching.
Got a bottle full of lortab 10s and plenty of icepacks so my arse is making this couch my permanent spot for a day or two.

PS If you get divorced, you'll find out pretty quickly that women our age tend to get really fricking excited when they find out you can't knock them up. Silver lining.
Yeah, I found that to be true as well.

Not a bad experience other than smoke coming from the sack while the doctor complained about real estate prices in Savannah. They did have the drop dead nurse take me into the procedure room and when I am laying on the bed with feet in stirrups they substitute her for Marsha Warfield but bigger. About an hour from entering the building to leaving. No pain and no side effects. Procedure was about 10 AM and flew to Houston around 7 PM. Other than being nearly naked with your legs spread and a man with a hot stick poking around and a large, feisty black woman with a good sense of humor cracking jokes the whole time not bad.....

That was damn nice of her
Considering that she almost died the day our son was born, this was the least-risky choice.
But thanks for your valuable input.
Way easier on men with far fewer side effects than the comparable procedure is on women. Any man who would encourage their wife to go through the comparable procedure so the man can avoid a few minutes of moderate pain and embarassment is an arse.

Question-
So you can still orgasm and all and you'll still have ejac when you get off..it just won't have sperm in it?
Yes...but it can several months before all the swimmers are gone. It was nearly 3 months to the day before I was told it was safe to have unprotected sex. The average is about a month I think but it can take several months. Yet another pretty embarassing part of the process LOL...I was on a military base over seas at the time so I had to do the deed at home and bring the sample. Three weeks post procedure and weekly until I got the all clear. Young corpsman in the base medical facility were not happy about it but it is what it is LOL....
