I think they include some cold weather places just to have some geographic variety because some people don't like warmer and humid climates.

The Forbes people state they have a personal bias for warmer climates.

I would live to visit Boise one day. looks like a cool town.

death valley doesn't make much sense for a college located in the flat bayou, and a team that can't complete a forward pass even at home. lol
