should universities shut down entire athletic programs when 1 or 2 players are busted for sexual assault or hazing? and how are your chapters/nationals dealing with the sheer hypocrisy of university leadership when it comes to cherry picking punishments?

What does this have to do with Greek Life?
I'm confused.

Well, one of those things make the University way more money

These two things are completely different. But for the sake of the claim...
Universities are now kicking off chapters for hazing. Even if it is just a few guys doing it in a 100+ member chapter. Nationals agree with them because they are already drowning in lawsuits as it is.
Major programs won't get shutdown because of the money they bring in, but this isn't a good comparison.

Stop turning a blind eye to your paid for friends that are raping drunk girls.

True to a certain point. Greek organizations bring in a lot of money to the community, they have philanthropy projects, and basically run politics and organizations on campus because independents just never get involved by and large.

The vast majority of major donors were greek. The vast majority of elected government officials at the state and national level were greek. Whether people like it or not, the people that control a lot of the wealth at these universities were Greek. Now I certainly don’t condone hazing, but shutting down Greek organizations may not be the best idea in the grand scheme. Punishing the individuals who are/were actually culpable would seem to make the most sense

My fraternity at Georgia got fricked with pretty hard by the IFC and Greek Life Office over some stupid shite. Pretty much wasted a year of my life dealing with it, because even though they didn't find us guilty of anything, they made us jump through all these hoops to prove our innocence.
Greek Life is just an easy target right now and morons across the country aren't making it any better for themselves. It's not hard to figure out to how put a pledge in their place without overloading them with coke and alcohol or shoving them down a set of stairs.

I used to love when my employees would have pledges clean the bar. it was great

That's a great use of pledge work. It puts them in their place and helps them show some respect to the establishments they're going to wreck in a few months.

wreck is a gross understatement. hahah.....i almost lost all faith in humanity after my couple years in Athens lol

A good number of my friends worked in Flans, so I've seen the worst of times. No human will ever be able to get rid of the stank and stick in that bar.

one time...i some some type of shite pouring out of the ceiling. I asked...what the frick is that. They said.....shite! LOL

My chapter didn’t have the pull or money the football team has

I don't know how it is down there but here they don't typically shut down chapters unless they've been repeat offenders and warned frequently in advance.
