If y'all aren't using Bravecto or Bravecta (I'm not at home, and I forget which it is) for tick and flea control, you are missing the boat.
Had Molly at our hunting camp last weekend, and she came home without a tick on her anywhere.

Worked at a vet in high school. The DVM would stick the pill in back of the dog’s mouth then wipe it’s nose dry with the palm of his hand really quick. It’s pretty much an involuntary muscle reaction for the animal to immediately lick it’s nose to wet it again, thus causing it to swallow. We just didn’t have all day to hide medicine in treats.

Bravecto/Bravecta, something like that, is what I use. It's a three-month chewy thingy, and Molly never hesitates to eat it.

It ain't cheap. I just paid $189. for 12 doses. That is a 6 month supply for 2 cats.
Have you vet call in the prescription to Walmart. $95.00 for 6 doses. $120-130 elsewhere.
Yes, Walmart does pet medications too.

Give a couple pieces of cheese or hotdog plain, then sneak him one wrapped around the pill. Often works.

Just put it in some liverwurst, he/she will eat it.
