Why are you trying so hard to understand it? It's not an aspect of sexuality that's linked to logic necessarily. People don't just wake up one day and say "I'm going to be into having my junk stomped on."

Oh I understand that people have kinks. Everyone of us probably have things that are exciting that most people don't understand. I guess the fact that my feet are usually in shoes and sweaty makes it hard for me to see feet as an object of desire.

Like you said, a lot of other people think that's weird but you don't. It just is the way it is.
I'm a foot fetish guy too. It's not something I asked for, it's just that kink that's been there as long as I can remember. I would love to know if there's some kind of meaning behind developing it or if it's just random. I don't like all feet, just very well maintained/manicured on women.
I'm with your friend, if a woman has bad feet I would never date her. Maybe it has to do with the level of pride/detail they take in maintaining themselves. Bad feet is a red flag to me.
