Fayetteville probably the setting for HBO's True Detective season 3.

That's kinda cool.

Well, we have to compete with another city with incentives for some reason.

Well, it would almost have to be better than Season 2 in Los Angeles which was a complete bomb from my perspective. I do think a smaller town setting might be a better environment for the theme of that show. Season 1 was great in rural Louisiana. Hopefully they are trying to get back to what worked in the first season.

The New Orleans area worked well in the first season because it had a gritty feel to it, and the plot line was simple.

The L.A. plot line was a little tougher to follow, and HBO threw in some tangents that should have been left out.

Season 2 ripped off The Big Nowhere, which made me hate it even more.

Would rather Fayetteville, GA be the setting so I could PA on it.

Never heard of anyone willingly wanting to be a PA. Probably stick you in some awful department like transpo.

Unfortunately, I'm already living the PA nightmare but I've got less than 100 days and I'll be moving up on the food chain. I've come too far to quit now. Thought the film industry would be a glamorous job but instead it's chronic swamp arse, sleep deprivation, eternal fatigue and not having a life outside of social media.
