Just in terms of what I'd probably go with on a random draft list:
1) TrimTab (Birmingham)
2) Ghost Train (Birmingham)
3) Southern Prohibition (Hattiesburg)
4) Straight To Ale (Huntsville)
5) Yellowhammer (Huntsville)
6) Against The Grain (Louisville)
7) Evil Twin (Brooklyn)
8) Clown Shoes (Boston)
9) Orpheus (Atlanta)
10) DuClaw (Baltimore)
11) Left Hand (Longmont, CO)
12) Founders (Grand Rapids, MI)
Don't know if I've had anything from 3 Floyds, but I'm digging their offerings after looking it up.
Best recent beer was called Jelly Filled from TrimTab — a chocolate stout with maple and raspberry. Tasted like a jelly doughnut.
Also have recently been into the The PastryArchy rotating series from DuClaw.

I had against the grain recently. I enjoyed their stout. Best recent beer for me is Founders KBS.

On the flip side, they also use a lot of citra hops in their IPAs, which I really like for some reason.
Devil's Harvest by SPB and Monkeynaut from STA are some of my favorites in the summer, I guess mainly because of the citra.

That's a really good one. Love the Kentucky bourbon styles.
Their All Day IPA is a nice session beer along the lines of Devil's Harvest, IMO.

Ever had Revolution brewing IPA’s? Anti-Hero, etc. New Belgium Voodoo Ranger is a good imperial IPA too.

1. Burial
1a. Dssolvr
Both in Asheville, NC. I've had the best beers of my life from these places. Their drops are not to be missed.
If you ever find yourself in Asheville, they are a must visit.

I don't think so. In Alabama we have surprisingly good distribution now, but there's obviously still a ton that we don't get.
Don't think I've ever seen those, but they've got some pretty sweet can art. (Has absolutely nothing to do with the taste, but I'm a sucker for a good-looking can.)

Haven't been there since I was a kid, but I've heard they've got a great beer scene.
Definitely somewhere I need to try out.

They are good, but I think they only do IPA’s. I’m in Central Illinois, unfortunately, but a perk is tons of good craft beer around here.

Big Sky, Missoula, MT. Pretty standard brewery but in a FANTASTIC location. Some of the best DIY fly fishing in the western US, some serious good public land waterfowl hunting. Also a good college town with some good college football...just a great place all the way around....
