I'm going to say Sonic is generally underrated. Quality isn't anything to write home about but you've got to appreciate the diversity of the menu. I'm not big on fries so I like having the option to go tots, onion rings, jalapeno poppers. Bacon cheeseburger toaster is pretty solid and a decent amount of food for the price.
Sonic is all about the sides for me. The burgers aren't bad, but I always want to buy like $20 off the side menu.

Rally's/Checker's is really good, and it's not overpriced.

I always order a regular 1/2 roast beef and add the cheddar.
Not a fan of the default beef and cheddar bun. Luckily there is a way around it.

Never tried it. I've seen some of those restaurants in Tampa, but not in my corner of Florida. Maybe it'll try it if the opportunity arises.

Can't believe I forgot about these two:
COOKOUT and Pal's.
Cookout is in Tennessee and the Carolinas. Very good food, low cost, and lots of things on their menu. Fast service.
Pal's is only in Northeast Tennessee. I have it almost every time I visit my family there.

I always wanted to see what the hype was with Canes. So i tried one out of town once. Guess it's ok if you like bland, seasonless food with no taste. Give me Zaxbys over that shite everytime.
