It's pretty obvious at this point that ESPN is being floated by Disney as a way to spread its leftist propaganda into the sporting world for as long as it can.

But they have the money, so expect things to continue as they have been.

I just don't understand what kind of market research they've done to think shows like this are necessary. In the morning before work I want a show talking about sports the day before and what's happening that day. Ie, sportscenter (which I know still exists). But it's like they feel they HAVE to keep trying other stuff.

ESPN is so old news anymore. I never watch anything on there except games. I'm shocked they have any viewership at all for their political opinion shows.

It's kind of ironic that they're old news because they're trying to be "new news". I really believe that MOST people would be fine with a simple sportscenter type shows. Show us the highlights and move on. But I'm convinced some old suits in a boardroom started thinking abotu how ESPN needs to keep up with the times and be cool and hip so now we have them showing us tweets from jimmy joe's reaction to some play, stupid pop culture references, and other cringeworthy things. SC6 was supposed to fuse "sports, culture, current events" or some shite like that. Why? They're getting passed behind when if they had stayed in their old ways they'd still be doing just fine IMO.

Eventually you have to answer to stockholders and the bottom line. They've had mulittle layoffs lately and to spend the millions they did on this show makes no sense
at all. They are clueless as to who their audience is/was.

I wouldn't agree that ESPN is solely a vehicle to spread propaganda like the other guy said, but I mean it's an undeniable fact that Disney is SJW-ing up most things they touch these days. ESPN is no different.

People who think the desire for power and influence fall under conspiracy theories are gullible and stupid.

But I won't ask you to stop.

Maybe this is why the SEC (owned content of The Mouse) conference added Missouri?
