four of us are walking from our downtown to an area with a video game hangout with ice cream
one of my friends spits at the same time some douchebags are driving by in their truck and they jump out pissed off
dude was going to "beat our dicks in the dirt!!" he screamed a couple of times. "beat yo dick in the dirt!!" douchebags were like 19 and we were maybe 11 - really?
I slowly pulled my pocket knife out and had it open and I do think I MIGHT have stabbed douchebag in the leg at most if need be, but they got back in their shitty truck and peeled out

This story happened when you were 11? So like the ‘50’s?? I kid, I kid.
But you guys carrying for self defense?? There is a difference for me bc “youngins” don’t fight with pocket knives any more since West Side Story, or you live in London.
The guys I know that carry knives here use them for work, or do a lot of outdoor projects. I guess I thought you guys carry them as a tool like I do when I carry a lighter. I didn’t know you guys mean for self defense.
