Did Man and Dinosaur Coexist?

I think they did.
In the Old Testament of our Holy Bible, dragons (or terrible lizards) are referred to over 20 times.
Example:
I should stop here and say this isn't intended to be a religious debate thread. I think there is ample evidence to suggest large reptiles survived into the modern era.
That passage quoted above seems to describe a large herbivore that should have been unknown to the people of that period.
Another such piece of evidence is in the story of Beowulf.
So dragons are cultural Universals. Every culture in the world contains myths about dragons. Before we created the term dinosaur, the term dragon was used to describe terrible lizards.
As recently as 1614 there have been reportings of these things. In this case, the dinosaur seems to have been slaughtering someone's livestock.
Here is a Hongshan carving of a Protoceratops.
And a tyrannosaurus Rex carved on a church somewhere in the country of Georgia.
There are loads more examples of this. What does it mean? No idea, but it's pretty cool.
Years back I saw a photo taken in the 1970s I think of a man that had killed a small raptor in the Grand Canyon. Can't find the photo anymore, but he was holding this reptile by the tail and it looked about 4' long nose to tail and was bipedal. Wish I could find that one again.
In the Old Testament of our Holy Bible, dragons (or terrible lizards) are referred to over 20 times.
Example:
quote:
Job 40:15-23
“Lo, I pray thee, Behemoth, that I made with thee: Grass as an ox he eateth.
Lo, I pray thee, his power [is] in his loins, And his strength in the muscles of his
belly.
He doth bend his tail as a cedar, The sinews of his thighs are wrapped together,
His bones [are] tubes of brass, His bones [are] as a bar of iron.
He [is] a beginning of the ways of God, His Maker bringeth nigh his sword;
For food do mountains bear for him, And all the beasts of the field play there…
Lo, a flood oppresseth -- he doth not haste, He is confident though Jordan Doth
come forth unto his mouth.”

quote:
Grendel's swift hard claws
snatched at the first Geat
He came to, ripped him apart, cut
His body to bits with powerful jaws,
Drank the blood from his veins and bolted
Him down, hands and feet; death
And Grendel's great teeth came together,
Snapping life shut."
"but their weapons
Could not hurt him,
the sharpest and hardest iron
Could not scratch at Grendel's skin"
“The fiend reached for him with his claw, but he grasped it with set purpose, and
threw his weight on Grendel’s arm.”

I got a question.
How do we know the noises they make?
We see all these Jurassic park movies with the noises T Rex and Raptors make.
How do we know that?

I believe that there is this alternate area of the country that only the super rich go to for things like that.
Guys like Bezos, Gates, Zuckerberg, Dalio etc take/took their kids regularly to places like Jurassic Park, Waterworld and Hogwarts etc for Vacations.
They just have some kind of agreement with the government to not take it out of these areas locations, and the government doesn't hit them with any major sanctions for any kind of illegal shite they may do.

They are definitely time travelers.

Oh, here and there.

I initially got interested in this subject when I was researching cultural Universals. I was searching for evidence of a pre-flood civilization that had transoceanic trade routes all over the world. Dragons are one such cultural universal.
I personally don't think the premise of this thread should be so easily dismissed. I mean, there's ancient carvings of stegosaurus, paintings of brontosaurus, numerous testimonies such as the ones I already presented that seem to suggest people had contact with these things.
I think it is presumptuous to say that ALL of these great lizards disappeared overnight. After all, alligators have been around this entire time. And we still have lizards today, they've just gotten smaller. And some turned into birds. But they've clearly been around this entire time, IMO.

Not peacefully I would think. That's why theyre all dead. When one of those pricks comes out and eats your cows, youre bound to go after the thing.
