Fauchi yes.

And it’s principal. Must not have gone to Cobb County Schools

Don’t know this other guy who sent the tweet out. Was it a retweet?

I don’t have unilateral authority to close the doors. Just as the POTUS didn’t have unilateral authority to cut funding to the CDC. Checks and balances

And what about Dr Scott lawyer? About as credible as it gets. They both have said the same thing.

You are being led by some uninformed leaders. Your school should be online now, and I bet it will be soon.

Tell you what send me you’re CV and credentials and I will pass them on and we will call you in. I’ll send you my CV and we can compare and you will see how I am a PRINCIPLE.

We may close. I don’t know but I’m sure the are getting information on what is happening here in our attendance zones. Which have no confirmed cases. State may close. I don’t know but I can assure you it will not be from on line information.

Eh If your in Athens I’m not far. Come on up

Finally seems like trump is taking this seriously. Never seen him so “normal”. Better late than never. Hopefully we can flatten the curve.

So you are back on Trump. When you’re a leader be it the nation, city, school, business etc.. you have to make decisions based on the information given to you by the people you trust. Talk to face to face. You can’t just read the internet or watch a cable news network and decide. You also have to reassure people.
If they see you panic they will.

But please understand these things take time. Cues take time. We don’t have a cure for the common cold or cancer much less a virus that was just discovered. Takes time for things to happen in government.

Has UGA canceled anything as far as classes?

So yeah Trump is going to sign Emergency Relief Fund today. Probably won’t see 4000 people die of this like the Swine Flu when Obama was in office.

Trump is the president, our leader in this time of crisis, so it’s natural and expected for him to be a major topic. It’s only political if you have an emotional investment in the Republican Party and their rivalry with the Democrats, which is beyond obvious with you.

Before last night, he was a complete joke on this topic, dangerously misleading his followers. Gladly, he changed last night. Hope the new trump is here to stay. He needs to force congress to pass the houses bill or propose their own.

We are waiting too long. The state boards should shut down all schools after this weekend at the latest.

I already pulled my kid out of school as of today.

That’s a nice sob story, but We are talking about something with potential to be far far worse than the flu.

You are correct.
However, when the gooberment rolls out the next "national crisis/emergency" the same idiots will fall for it again and parrot the same bullshite they are fed on a daily basis.
Then those of us with a functioning brain capable of thought and reason will be right back in the crosshairs.

We need to shut down for 2-3 weeks to stop the spread.

It will work this time.

Guaranteed.
