Really cool story here.

At College GameDay last week in Ames, IA, an Iowa State fan displayed a sign that asked for money to replenish his Busch Light supply, providing his Venmo tag for any generous person that wanted to help him out. After receiving an overwhelming amount of support, Carson King, the sign's creator, decided to send the money he received to the Iowa Children's Hospital, the one that the Hawkeyes & company famously wave to at each home game. King's gesture quickly went viral, and when they heard about it, companies Venmo and Anheuser Busch decided to match his donation. With others joining in, over $36,000 has been raised for the Iowa Children's Hospital over the past few days. Video linked below.

While nice and I'm glad he's doing that, did people really give this guy $36K for beer?

I have got to figure out how to do this.

Iowa State fan, I think that has a lot to do with it.

Bros out there can drink some beer.

The amount he received from just people seeing it on Gameday was like $1,600, which is still great. The $36,000 figure towards to Children's Hospital is the money he raised combined with Venmo, Busch, and just other people that wanted to help out too.

Reminds me a lot of the Auburn kid and the bitcoin sign back in 2013.
