Mine.
As long as the hubs had a comfortable mattress and one decent chair, he DGAF about how the house is decorated.
We have a pink living room and an turquoise master bath and purple powder room.
As long as it looks good to company, he doesn't care.
And not to toot my own horn but I do a lot of the decorating myself - I have sewn all the drapes, pillows, bedskirts, etc. in our home. We painted the rooms ourselves and I've even recovered some furniture. I repurpose a ton of things instead of throwing them out - I can take a can of spray paint and new hardware and work magic on an old piece of furniture.
So I get to spend more money on things I can't do - like cool pieces of art.

We've been collecting Rodrigue originals since we were twenty, as we liked the blue dog and LA themes. My wife and I saved up and would snag one every year for our anniversary when we went to NOLA. We haven't done it for he past 4-5 years because the prices sky rocketed. Anyway, our paintings are now worth a shite ton and more than our house. After his death, they went even crazier and have been the best investments we've ever made. In fact, one of our pairings was on display at the NOLA gallery the past few months. We had a lot of offers we probably should have taken, but it happened to be our favorite one we keep over the mantel in the living room. That's the only art we've ever purchased and not art people, we just thought they were cool.

That's pretty awesome.
This is nowhere near the same, but we bought a painting by Justin Gaffrey in Seaside about ten years ago for a couple hundred bucks. His paintings now seem to go for a few thousand each. However, my wife isn't that fond of it anymore, so it's hanging in my MIL's house.
