Most people who know anything about restaurants know that the finest are James Beard award winners

Take a look at the James Beard winners and finalist from Birmingham before you open your mouth.

You really want to compare Commander’s Palace, Herbsaint, Brendan’s, Palace Cafe, Arnaud’s, Galatoire’s and Coquette to a bbq place and a juke joint?

I never got shot or shot at once at these or any other places in NOLA.

Exhibit A that you are one monumentally stupid motherfricker. Why the hell would I go back and read any of your posts? This is an idiotic thread you started.

Exhibit A at what you read or comprehend as a defender of your fellow cult members. We were talking about Harsin last night and your dumbfrick member thatthang brought up a post from months ago to prove his fricked up position. Now this shows up this morning and you Culties still support thatthang and what he posted.

NOLA has 252. How many does Birmingham have?

I’ve live in bham for three years and there are some great restaurants here. My top 3 is hot and hot, Helen, bottega

Bamboo, east west, the essential, la fresca, ovenbird, gianmarcos, saws, pizzeria GM, automatic, johnnys are all really good too. I’m leaving out a ton of places I know

Brightstar in Bessemer is great. First time I’ve tried snapper throats and they were delicious

thanks for the info.

was not aware that Birmingham had a good food scene. will look into it further.

of note in that article, I can vouch for Portland, ME as a great food town. great beer scene too.

Did we say that Birmingham is better than NO? But you obviously do not keep up with the restaurant scenes in Birmingham. They have many restaurants who have received high marks to include Hot and Hot, Highland Grill, Ovenbird, Bottagas, Automatic Seafood and Johnny's just to name a few. Again, I think they have had a finalist for the James Beard award the last 10 years straight. I don't think NO could even say that.
