Where are you located? There are 4 nursing schools in Memphis alone, ranging from the quite respected to the... not so well respected.

As my next door neighbor who has two nursing pensions (from different hospitals) told his son (who was choosing between nursing and accounting), the best nurse and worst nurse make the exact same amount.

It legit doesn't matter. It only has to be accredited. The nursing shortage is real and I can promise you, not one single employer will give the tiniest shite about where you finished your degree. Not one.

Arkansas Tech has a nice program. My daughter is in for her RN now.

I don’t think going to a bigger school for a nursing degree will make a big difference when looking for a job and you will have to pay a lot more for it. If you want to stay close to family and live in Ash Flat ASU will be your best option for a BSN
If you want to get your RN first and driving from Ash Flat MSU-West Plains is a hour drive.
Any incoming freshmen should look at MSSU in Joplin. The nursing program is good and right now they have a Merit scholarship that pays students money not towards college but in hand(that is for any degree). Depending on GPA it is up to $5,000. Kids are making money by going to school.
Make sure any program is accredited
