Batman vs Superman was really good, Ben Affleck was a great Batman, despite the critics and all the jokes

The Batman character really got back to the Dark Knight roots & was much less of a Saturday morning cartoon boy scout

solid movie and puts DC back on equal footing with marvel cinematically

DC needs about 10 more Dark Knights for that to be even remotely possible.

I think I can't get excited about a Superman movie.

The problem with Superman is he's an incredibly overpowered, simple superhero. I find all the best heroes are the antiheroes like the Punisher and Deadpool. They're conflicted, they're flawed, they're more like us. As soon as they do something heroic, they turn around and show their humanity, or do something bad because it helps them achieve their own greater good. Superman has no complex motives or easily exposed weaknesses.

Superman can't be killed except by being exposed to a rare rock. There will never be a good Superman movie because it will be two+ hours of finding ways to justify him not ending every conflict instantly. This is boring and inevitably leads to plot holes. Oh, and his stupid horned-rim glasses "mask" is something I've never been able to suspend my disbelief for.

You know what the greatest Superman movie ever made was? It's an anime called One Punch Man.

Superman is dead?

How is that even possible?

Why would you spoil it for the rest of us you selfish frick.

Yeah, good one. Here's another spoiler: Superman is actually Clark Kent.

I actually really like the movie and watched with my son. I may be easily entertained i don't know, but I felt it was worth watching and enjoyable.

I liked it.

Only things that bothered me was how close Metropolis and Gotham were.
