in all sincerety. you and i argue over who wants to bend us over and give it to us worse in Washington. We each just have a different opinion of who will call us back in the morning.

Huge red flag.

Guys, this is a fashion thread where men get together and talk about what's hot and what clothes are in right now. Please take this techy talk elsewhere, thanks in advance.

can we get back to normal around here? Crotchless underwear, edible panties etc?
Jeez Louise.
Jeez Louise.

I wouldn't say I search out brands that cost more, but I'd say this instance is a exception. Most of the time your higher quality items will cost more.
True. And IMO it should be about quality instead of price.
The kicker with the OP though is that they're not going to stop making their higher end items you can purchase from their stores/site. The only thing that "devalues" it is that the people that buy the higher end product for status purposes just lost some of that exclusive status. LP is just creating a reasonably priced/probably lesser quality product at Target like other designers have done before. No one is forcing them to buy the lower quality product. And like a knockoff purse, you can usually tell the difference if it's that much of a concern.
Personally, I'd rather see people learn how to dress well at a lower cost when things like this happens. I don't really see anything negative about well designed clothes being available to someone who doesn't want to shell out $200-$300 for a dress. Now I'm not a big LP fan but to each his own.

But these aren't knockoffs. They're just cheap versions of the real thing.
If you'd just paid $400 for something that wasn't widely available and suddenly people everywhere had the same thing with minuscule differences for $50 you might be annoyed too.

Not particularly. I'd know I was paying for the quality of the fabric/make. I could give a damn if someone else was wearing a different, cheaper version.

Here's an article from 2012 that lists all the collaborations Target has had in the past. It started in 2003 with Isaac Mizrahi.

I completely stay out of those discussions. Why do people care? I use what I want and don't give a frick what someone else likes.
ETA: It's also hilarious that only Apple people are "fanboys" but the Android people are just level headed people that see the light.

I've got Apple products for work and Android for personal. The Apple is easy to use right out of the box, but my droid is way more customizable.

Is this really what you think?
