I don’t know whether to laugh or cry at this man’s fate. On the one hand he was spared the awful death of being burned alive. OTOH, I picture him putting up his hands in a defensive posture and yelling, “Oh, shite,” like Harvey Fierstein in Independence Day when the aliens attacked NYC.

Unfortunately for this man, the Earth is flat. If the Earth was round, the projectile would have simply sailed off into outer space.

Why are we starting threads feeling bad for these people? They ignored and angered both Mercury and Vulcan, these people literally asked for what happened to them. They are NOT victims.
