My town was hit with a preemptive 100% mandatory evac for Tuesday. The Mermentau river is supposed to crest at 13.5 feet...3 feet higher than the last time we got flooded.

No problem. Anyone East of BR should evac today as the rains will continue and the Amite river should crest at around 47.5 ft today. Lots of destruction yet to be seen IMO. Remember essentials only and dont risk yourselves for things, they can always be replaced. Stay safe everyone
