See it is stuff like that when I know you are my Hog brother from another mother!
Kids today have missed the world of music san the BRASS / HORNS section. So sad!
I can I identify where almost all the clips came from and 99 from the old "Get Smart" was soooooo hot!

Cheesy, I've know this Motown guy for over 20 years, Jack Ashford, do you know him?

Known as “Mr. Tambourine Man” for his distinctive way with the instrument, Ashford provided a variety of percussion on Marvin Gaye’s “What’s Going On,” including bells on the title track and blocks on the song “Mercy Mercy Me (The Ecology).”

Arriving in Detroit in the early-‘60s, Ashford hooked up with the cadre of Motown session players who would become known as The Funk Brothers, first on stage and then in the studio. Together they would help define hits for the label's stars, backing Stevie Wonder, The Temptations, The Four Tops, and Diana Ross and The Supremes, among others.

he was a security guard as an old man at my work in Memphis years ago
he had pictures of him with every Motown star you could ever imagine
he would get royalty checks per song - he showed me on once for about two dollars and change
I guess Motown moved from Detroit to Pasadena, CA. He's obviously still living. His daughter was a Tennessee Titans cheerleader
