He kept referring to magma to buttress his 9/11 conspiracy theories in a thread awhile back.

He was subsequently laughed out of said thread

well as of what I read this morning they said all the shots entered the body from the front. This ruins the story of him running from the cop and laying down. It looks more and more like he was coming at the cop, unless of course he was running backwards.

Running with he is a sweet innocent black teen narrative is silly when it comes out that he robbed a store and the rest of his record. If the cop shot a suspect that was surrendering then just say that, there is no need to sensationalize the story and then have it blow up.

Or he was simply shot in the front, we don't know yet, right?

Man was walking down the street and ended up dead, we know that happened. In this country, and at this level of civilization that shouldn't happen.

Wow. How long did it take for him to be laughed out of the thread?

I didn't say anything concrete happened other than he was shot from the front. I said the shooting appears to be justified not that it was.

this we do know but the last part isn't really important because we don't know if the shooting was justified or not. if innocent ole brown was just walking down the street and shot for no reason other than being black then i agree that shouldn't happen. However it looks like he was in a struggle with a cop and the facts of the case will eventually come out. Either the cop shot him because brown went for the gun and then charged him again or the cop shot him in cold blood and will be charged. If he shot him in cold blood and isn't charged then people should riot as much as they like

What question was that?

And what bullshite did I spew?

I got to work with CBS crews the July race in 92.. both the Saturday and Sunday race.. hot as hell. Previous races, they had drunks trying to mess with cameramen. I got assigned turn 2. It had a chain link fence on it and a good ole boy had a cooler truck parked outside.. half booze and half soft drinks. He kept me filled with rootbeers and mtn dews, I shut the gate and climbed up and watched the race with the cameraman. That was when what's his name flipped his car over the wall of the track and down the outside embankment in turn 2.

Um, yeah, so, um, guy walking down the street shouldn't end up dead, ever, never ever.

A struggle? Surely there was some kind of incident, a struggle of some kind, regardless the man should not have been killed, end of story.

Why would a guy try to grab a cops gun unprovoked? Makes no sense.

The cop clearly played a role in this incident escalating to the point that he felt it was necessary to shoot Brown.

The killing is unjust regardless of any facts we may learn, unless those facts make it clear that Brown charged the officer, attacked him and went for his gun unprovoked.

I highly doubt that was the case.

Maybe because he had just committed a felony? Who the hell knows? Stupid people are everywhere. This thread shows a couple.

What if he's shooting as he is walking? Has an explosive? Tossing knives at people? Crushing baby's skulls?

quote:

Surely there was some kind of incident, a struggle of some kind, regardless the man should not have been killed, end of story

Without knowing what kind of struggle, how can you definitively say this with a straight face, or come to that conclusion? It's really illogical to state that.

Why would a guy try to grab a cops gun unprovoked? Makes no sense

Why do people try heroin, meth, crack.. when they know where it leads? Why do they murder on impulse, or kill people during robberies?

quote:

The cop clearly played a role in this incident escalating to the point that he felt it was necessary to shoot Brown

Or, he escalated his use of force to subdue the individual until he could no longer inflict grievous bodily injury to the officer or surrounding citizens....
