It's yet to be determined if the shooting was justified or not. Until all information is out, it's unknown.

well as of what I read this morning they said all the shots entered the body from the front. This ruins the story of him running from the cop and laying down. It looks more and more like he was coming at the cop, unless of course he was running backwards.
Running with he is a sweet innocent black teen narrative is silly when it comes out that he robbed a store and the rest of his record. If the cop shot a suspect that was surrendering then just say that, there is no need to sensationalize the story and then have it blow up.
when you start trying to make a story worse than it is then it hurts legitimate cases of the cops being out of line. There are plenty of easy cases to target for cops being ruthless killers.
The line of excessive fore on the crowd is still out there but when you start looting that also kind of fricks that up.
FWIW brown was close to cracking the moles peoples plan. Once he smoked his 50 blunts he was going to have it all figured out. The mole people used Ferguason PD to shut that down.

1. It's him in the video, period.
2. The officer might not have known, and maybe it was just dumb luck, but he knew what he did which was why he fought, tried to run and eventually fight according to a witness who'll probably never come forward.
3. Attacking a man with a gun when you don't have one is almost always a bad idea.
