The one thing they cannot have if they are born rich is the complete lack of doubt about their ability to achieve without the advantage. Other than that, they have a lot of advantages and their bad events are like everyone else's.

Classism is just another form of ugly bigotry.
Indeed. I think we've successfully identified the butthurt losers in this thread.

My stance is that if you have enough money to put it all away and never work, or never struggle.. Then you are no longer a human.
This is ridiculous.
Studies have shown that lottery winners report about the same level of contentment approximately 18 months after winning as they had before winning. Same with people that have had a limb amputated due to an accident or illness, they return to a baseline level of contentment after adjusting to their new circumstances.
Point is, people make their own happiness, and it's not necessarily dictated by circumstances. If someone has issues with depression before money, they'll have depression issues after money. If someone that was a hopeful optimist before a tragic accident left them handicapped, odds are they'll still think positively about the world. Humans aren't defined by our situations, but how we react to them.

You can be miserable with everything, or happy with nothing.
Now, while I do not know this for sure, I'm prepared to say I'll take the risk that I won't be happier with 50 million dollars.
I know, I'm going out on a limb here. But I want to give it a shot.
At the end of the day, rich, poor, in that extremely small section that can be called middle class now... you are who are you. I'd rather be me then rich and miserable.
Granted, I'd rather be me and rich.

No, I don't. It sounds like something Lenin would say, and look what that led to.
