Alvin and the Chipmunks- Alabama vs LSU Reference?

I know this is a reference to the honey badger video, but since Alvin is in a red shirt with an A, I was wondering if this may be a really hidden reference to the Bama-LSU game.

You may be on to something gump. It's entirely possible that when that character was created in nineteen fifty frickin eight that he was put in red with an A to symbolize being a bama fan.

And red isn't one of alabama's colors, for the record.

I only meant in this movie the fact that they set him up against a honey badger Not that it was set up in 1958. Oh well, I still thought it was interesting
