I think Gene Roddenberry was in contact with actual space extraterrestrials when he was creating Star Trek. No joke.

Yea Alien isn’t even really sci-fi, it’s just a monster movie set in a nominally sci-if universe. You could tell the exact same story in a contemporary setting with very few adaptations. I like Alien but it’s a completely different breed of movie, it is not a space opera.

Michael Myers is comparable to the Alien. He stalks around a closed area (neighborhood) and kills the people that live in that area. The xenomorph does the exact same thing, it just does it on a space ship.

You know what's a good trilogy? Back to the Future. In fact, it's the best trilogy. Pretty easily.
