The US Navy has been granted a patent for an advanced aircraft which resembles a flying saucer UFO.
quote:
The patent is highly complex and describes methods of reducing the mass of an aircraft using various techniques including the generation of gravity waves, which were first detected in 2016 after being produced when two black holes collided.
quote:
‘It is possible to reduce the inertial mass and hence the gravitational mass, of a system/object in motion, by an abrupt perturbation of the non-linear background of local spacetime,’ the patent says.
The craft described in the patent features a cavity wall filled with gas, which is then made to vibrate using powerful electromagnetic waves.
This then creates a vacuum around the craft, allowing it to propel itself at high speeds.
The UFO-style ship can be used in water, air or even space.
‘It is possible to envision a hybrid aerospace/undersea craft (HAUC), which due to the physical mechanisms enabled with the inertial mass reduction device, can function as a submersible craft capable of extreme underwater speeds… and enhanced stealth capabilities,’ the patent continues.
‘This hybrid craft would move with great ease through the air/space/water mediums, by being enclosed in a vacuum plasma bubble/sheath.’
It's mildly ironic that they finally put in for a patent on this technology considering that we've had it for decades at this point. The TR-3B looks just like the prototype they used on this patent and that's been cruising around for a long time.
Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Raytheon, General Dynamics, etc. all have Advanced development programs that get funding from black projects within the United States government to develop and improve tech like what they're discussing in the quotes above. This isnt new tech, but they're finally starting to release small pieces to the wider public on it. Lockheed Martin's Skunk Works program alone has developed advanced technology that looks like it's from generations down the road.

If you leave Earth, you become a nomad.
True. I am NOMAD.

Perhaps becoming permanent nomads is hinted at in the movies that have colonization as the alien's motivation for showing up in the first place. Maybe they're like interstellar Bedouin. There's no longer a home planet. They just move from watering hole to watering hole forever or until wiped out or die of a lack of worlds to conquer and species to eat.
Recon is a problem because you're planning a war and occupation with 20,000 year old technology and communication with the home planet to report intelligence is also a problem unless the entire species just packs up and leaves home planet. Back to being Bedouin.
But how do they know where to look to find a suitable planets and species to conquer in the first place? It's all too confusing.

If there are any spacefaring species that wish us harm, they will just push big rocks from the asteroid belt into the path of earth's orbit.

The spacefaring species are just time-traveling humans. They never make contact because they understand the butterfly effect.

I thought those guys operated out of their own solar system.

One of my favorites is the forever war.
I read that book when I was like 11. I guess the physics were accurate when the spaceship crashed into the planet at 99% of the speed of light but I couldn't grasp it. Still can't.
