I learned this info 1st hand. Alaska, IMO, is THE most beautiful state and it's not close BUT there are 2 things that I could have done without; 7 months of shoveling snow and the quakes. One you can prepare for, the other you can't.

That’s concerning. Most of my family still live there. I didn’t experience any serious quakes when I lived there, but was aware it’s always a possibility. I didn’t realize the fault reached that far in neighboring states.
