When it's like 35 outside, I open up the balcony door and leave it open for hours.

I'm having to tap into my Yankee roots up here these days (thanks, Michigander mom )

It's not so much that the cold isn't getting to me as much, I'm just more like, "frick it, I guess I'm not gonna feel my hands for awhile "

I have worked outdoors all my life so I have an aversion to cold in general but other than my knees hurting all the time I have found that as I get older I prefer cold to hot

I'll never understand how some people like cold weather. Cold weather sucks.

I'm anemic too. I still love cold weather. I just sit under a fleece blanket a lot.

Yeah, the boyfriend is always bitching because I set the thermostat to 68 or open up the balcony door when it's 35 or 40 and sit under a blanket.

Hell I am thinking of investing in a heated toilet seat and it really doesn't get that cold here

You can get heated floors now. They're just expensive.

Actually if you can do it yourself its not that bad. When my cousin in the panhandle redid their bathroom he did it and their kitchen as well. He said it wasn't to bad and the difference is amazing

Which panhandle? I'm assuming that you mean the Texas Panhandle. If you mean the Florida Panhandle, there's no reason to bother there.
