What I am saying is that I no longer post there. It is a great site to absorb knowledge. This time of year is always the best with the models flip flopping. Wouldn't be surprised if the NW shift continues up until the event. We trend well tomorrow I would get excited about the chances. Still a lot of time left yet. I assume you are watching the Euro.

Yep, I'm going to stay up and watch the Euro run tonight. Should be out in 45 minutes. Did you see that 18Z run someone posted in the new thread? Ugly. It lowered QPF for everyone. Unfortunately, ICON has detected that trend too.

I would like for the rest of the state to cash in on this event and not just East Tennessee. Hopefully the trend of the front slowing down remains in place. That will help increase totals for Middle and West TN.

So far it looks like GFS, NAM, and CMC are on one side while Euro and ICON are on the other.

I will catch the PBP in the morning. It is so incredibly difficult for model consistency when it comes to winter weather in the South. Just pay attention to the signals in the mid range, and hope for the best starting at about 48 hours till nowcast time. The waffling in the mid range is a stress fest.

Wow, sounds autistic. You've got me interested. How do I get started in this hobby?

Yes it is stressful. Makes the board go kind of crazy.

How often do you log on? I have TNWX up on my browser consistently in the winter months. I haven't been around that long, but I've been a witness (and sometimes a participant) in some of the drama on there.

Gotta love a good BRUCE post

BRUCE and skills are both very interesting. One thing I have noticed over the past couple of years is that Bruce has improved(yes improved...I know). He takes ut over the top with his severe weather interests honestly. He cheers on tornadoes a tad much.

As for my checking the site...constantly.

You will love TNWX. Hopefully soon we can get chat going again. Drunk Euro pbp chat parties were a lot of fun. lol

Many great, great posters are no longer involved, but the quality of analysis is still present. Met some great people from there irl. If you have time, go back through some of the old threads.

Super Tuesday and the Super Outbreak are some real surreal gems.

About 5 weeks ago, some of us were up late one night chatting in the winter thread. I had posted some statistics about snowfall in TN since 2016, and wfrogge responds to me with, "Pretty small sample size" with a winky face emoji. So I decided to be a jackass and replied with, "Has a lot in common with your manhood." Then, skillsweather replies to me with "yeah you'd be the first to know" or something along those lines. And oh boy, did a shitstorm ensue... I insulted him back and he absolutely melted. He started calling me a fig and then ranted about liberals (which had nothing to do with my insult, I guess he just felt like he needed to rant about politics). I tried to tell him that we were cool, but he got so angry he was typing paragraphs of all caps and expletives.

And what he did next was just grand. He changed his avatar and signature on his profile to explicit images (I'll let you guess) and begged to be banned. The Admins cleaned it up the next morning.

Bruce and Curt saw it all, LOL

No wonder I haven't seen Skills around lmfao.

He needed to be trolled into doing some dumb shite. Curt is my dude. Surprised you didn't get a talking to by someone lol. None of that would have tolerated, say, 5 years ago.

They've lightened up a lot.

To my surprise, I wasn't even punished. But yeah, Skillweather was one of the dumbest posters on the site IMO. Constantly spouting political opinions
