Since we are getting an offensive head coach....
If we could, would you guys like the idea of a Charlie Strong for DC? I think I would be OK with that.
I may be wrong. He might not have much punch without 4- and 5-star talent at every position.
Any other proven former DCs looking for a job yet?
I think I really like the idea of Harsin or Clark as HC with Strong running the defense for them.
Having Strong as a DC would also make me worry less about McElwain as HC.

If Harsin or Mac are the hires, I think there is a good chance Haley and Hargreaves stay on the staff. I can't imagine Strong having much of a problem with what those guys are doing unless Strong would coach the LBs and Coordinate.
