MoState would give Mizzou a pretty good game. I think Pinson and Dru would be too much in the end. But they executed far better on offense and just hit shots last night in a way I haven’t seen Mizzou play other than the Florida game.

That would make Mizzou what? The 3rd or 4th best team in the state?

We might fall out of the top 10 if we did.

At this point, I’m just glad the season is almost over.

It's a fricking shame because, having grown up in the Norm years, I really thought Mizzou could return to those days and compete for SEC championships, year in and year out. We might not win it every year, but we'd compete for it more times than not. What a complete disaster this program has become.

Yeah, it’s sad how far basketball has fallen. I grew up towards the end of the Stewart years and remember the year the team went unbeaten in the Big 8 and was a #1 seed in the NCAA Tournament. Even when the team started to fall off you could still count on a competitive team most of the time with the occasional big upset and a packed arena. Now it’s nothing close to that. I don’t even care to check the schedule to find out if the team played when I get off work anymore. Most of the time I forgot the team even had a game. It’s sad really. And it doesn’t look like anything is going to change next year either.

Yea....let's bring back Norm's one-and-done basketball back. Make the tournament and lose to Knucklehead St. in the first round.

If this thing doesn't get better we need a coach that reaches for the stars and beyond.

Norm was the tits. He had a problem though, he did not know how to rest his team for the NCAA. He drove them and drove them. They played their best in the conference tournament and were spent by the NCAA. He was quoted multiple times saying he didn't care about the NCAA only the conference, and it showed.

well Sterk isn't going to hire him. He will get some mid level underperforming schmuck and pay him 6 mil a year with a 24 mil buyout. He should not hire any more coaches
