Let's face it besides Kentucky and Florida, and Kentucky does not look that good this year, we have no idea how good any of the other SEC teams will be this year. Ole Miss did not have any quality wins but they have confidence and we played like crap.

Every team in the SEC is going to be up to play us because they "heard" we are good.

Losing Dixon was huge and it will show more every game. Someone is going to have to step up. Dixon brought it every game. Best 6 man in the country last year. Who will step up???

As long as we are healthy up front we should do well the rest of the season.

Basketball does not worry me. Football DOES!!!

I see 4 more solid wins...SC twice, UGA and Vandy. Likely split with Arky and LSU. Lose at UK. Lose to Florida probably twice. Hard to say we'll beat Ole Miss but at home I think we will. May lose at UT, A&M and Aub. Should beat MSU but it's there so who knows. I see 7 solid wins. I see 2 solid potential wins in Ole Miss (crazy to say after getting curb stomped) and MSU. That takes us to 9. I think if we sweep the other toss ups (UT/A&M/Aub), then we finish 12-6. That would shock me so anything better and I'll be dancing in the streets.

We win at LSU, Auburn and MSU.

13-5 looks about right. That's probably 2nd or 3rd in conference.

I don't disagree. I think that's the top end of where we can finish though.

I think Mizzou is the 2nd best team in conference behind FL. Right now I'm chalking up the Ole Miss game to the atmosphere and the Mizzou team playing flat.

It will get better.

It is FL's to lose barring some catastrophic injury. These guys just don't know how to stay level on the road.

We come out way to flat in nearly every game. The first half can be brutal to watch. Then we tend to play better in the first half. Just not sure that such a good thing in conference play, particularly on the road, or against tougher teams.

Dixon would come off the bench and give us some fire. Someone has to step it up and give us that fire off the bench.

Jank may be a liability defensively, but he seems to be the one player that, at times, can add a spark to the team/crowd.

I was thinking that HCFH could use Ross like he did Dixon. Ross should start but he would be great off the bench at the first TV timeout and bring some energy off the bench.
