Lock's first start blah blah blah. Damn it's quiet in here. You can hear a pin drop. Y'all freak'n out or something, or just enjoying the weather?

I'm excited. It's only 8 pm here and drinking a little. I already have my day tomorrow planned out. Get up and run 10k then game at 9. Feeling pretty good because Temple covered for me on a big net tonight.

Lock will be fun to watch tomorrow.

I was in El Segundo today.

I hate LAX.

I hate driving home from LAX even more.

The game will be fun to watch, I have no idea what to expect.

Next time you're in town you need to stop by El Segundo Brewing Company downtown. They brew some legit beers. And it's only 5 blocks from my house so it's convenient for me.

I love LA, but I can never have any real fun because I have to get home somehow, and the wife refuses to drive while dealing with me drunk in LA traffic.

We go to SD, no prob, she'll drive home, LA she becomes super bitch. It's just not worth it for me.

I did have a nice IPA from Angel City at Philippe's a few months ago when the Cards were in town. The beer is getting better up there.

Still doesn't hold a candle to San Diego though.

For sure San Diego is great. I like Grapefruit Sculpin. And when I'm there I always go to Grandpa's Liquor Cabinet in the Gaslamp District. Tiny little place that makes very good drinks.

Grapefruit Sculpin...

The finest breakfast IPA known to man.

The English can keep their breakfast stouts, I'll have my West Coast breakfast IPA , thank you very much.

We have a big Mizzou following down here, what's the LA scene like?

Ha ha! Cold IS my kind of weather! It's a comfortable 43deg. here.

I'm neutral with all this stuff right now. That way if we get spanked, no disappointment. If we win, great. I am looking forward to seeing just what Lock can do.

I occasionally Ron into a few Tigers fans but the good thing is that the manager of the biggest sports bar downtown is from St Louis so he's a Mizzou and Cardinals fan. So whenever I'm there, he makes sure those games are always on prominent tvs.

There are about a dozen people I went to high school with in Rolla that I know are out here in LA and follow the Tigers but we rarely get together for games because LA is so spread out and traffic sucks here.
