I wouldn't get too worked up over what coaches say lol.

There's nothing a coach says that fans like if the team is losing.
If Mizzou was 3-0 and BO was saying the same things fans would love it.

I used to hate the old "We do what we do" quote but i miss GP the worse and worse we get under BO

I will see your "We just had our best practice of the year" and raise you a "This is the best position group I've ever coached in my life".
Bert spent last year talking up how wonderful the O-Line was going to be and how they were the best he's ever seen. They were so bad that they should have been charged with the attempted murder of our QB.

Nah. I'd still find him pretty damn boring and bland.
How about Hill saying we gotta figure out a way to get Moore to stop dropping passes? Something like that works for me more than the "It's fixable. We'll have to get at work fixing it." Next thing you know, you are 1-11 and still working on it.

Going 1-11 up to 3-9 makes Sterk's decision pretty easy. Getting to 5-6 wins muddles the picture.
Looking at next season all 11 FBS opponents are expected to go bowling this season.
