Auburn is a tossup. That program has not been stable this year at all.

South Carolina on the road is a tossup. They brought a lot in with the transfer portal.

Wouldn’t count @SC as a W, change that to a toss up. Change Arky to a W, they have never beaten us twice. I would also change Tenn and Auburn to toss ups, they ain’t that great . 9-3 would not surprise me

@Abilene Christian is an embarrassment

We’ve played some embarrassing road games but that would be next level bad. It’s at home though, just a typo by OP

For what it's worth, here is my go at it:

Sep 1: Thursday night kickoff game: HOME vs Louisiana Tech (W)
Sep 10: at Kansas State (Toss up)
Sep 17: Abilene Christian (W)
Sep 24: at Auburn (Toss up)
Oct 1: vs Georgia (L)
Oct 8: at Florida (Toss up)
Oct 22: vs Vanderbilt (W)
Oct 29: at South Carolina (Toss up)
Nov 5: vs Kentucky (Toss up)
Nov 12: at Tennessee (Toss up)
Nov 19: vs New Mexico State (W)
Nov 25: vs Arkansas (Toss up)

I have 4 wins that we should be favored to win.
I have 7 games that are toss ups.
I have 1 games we should be expected to lose.

Considering that MOST of our toss up games are on the road, I expect us to go 3-4 in those games.

7 wins should be considered a good season. 8 winds would be a very good season for a program building back up.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if Spencer Rattler is the projected starter, the SEC is going to eat South Carolina for breakfast. That's an easy win IMO.

I hope so, but we don't know what getting into a new system/coach will do for him. He could play much better than he did at Ok

His coach was Lincoln Riley and he was against porous Big 12 defenses and still got benched. He's in for a rude awakening.

IMO the Kansas State game will tell us a lot about what to expect this year...

If we pull a Boston College/Wyoming and lose then it will be another long year

If we sneak by with a win then we have a fighting chance on the season

If we blow them out in Manhattan I think that gives us a real fighting chance @ Auburn, UT, & USC

Couldn't agree more. Mizzou fans WILL travel for this one.

*edit* K-State went 8-5 last year with some quality wins.

Kstate also beat up on inferior opponents and lost to real competition.

The LSU game had an LSU team where like 1/2 the starters opted out.

K state is okay, if this were a home game I'd give us the W.

Mainly if we start with a run D that ended last year, and not the run D that started, we have a good shot.

I am inclined to agree with this. Auburn kind of looks shaky this year. USC seems to be a dangerous, if rebuilding team.

I would say 7-5 for Missouri, and yes, I am picking Arkansas over you but what would you expect? I do think 8-4 could be on the docket, which would be tremendous in the process.

I have no clue whatsoever as to what that would mean going forward though. Who is going to wind up where and facing what is the question I don't think anyone knows right now.

Yeah, Arky is going to be dangerous this year. But it’s a home game, and y’all will have been run through a tough schedule by the time you come to como. Wouldn’t be surprised either way. Pittman has done work in a short timeframe

What do you think of the K-State game? They seemed a bit up and down last year. Knocking them off early might do for y'all what routing Texas did for Arkansas and really start the season off hot.

It really is a needed win, but a tough road game week 2. I’m not convinced they are as good as the predictors are saying. Most of their wins came agains not so good teams. I think they lost some key pieces from last year including QB.

It’s a winnable game, but Mizzou will need to show up for 11am kickoff

Yeah that is what I was thinking as well when I looked over their schedule.

I think if y'all come out hot they could fold early. But K-State at their house is a tough one. Best of luck to you guys.

Not really, this 2 deep are ALL his kids. No more Cement Head blaming, this teams wins and losses are on this coach. It's put up or shut up time, show us, no more excuses.

Any Qb excuses are on him, and should not be voiced. He put them in this situation.

I love kicking Odom, errr cement head around, but those days are officially over. It's ALL on the head coach now, and better results should be expected. They won 6 last season, 1 game difference is good????

How to tell us all that you don't understand the differences between basketball and football recruiting and development without just stating it.

two things. I echoed this before, while expect a better product, the schedule is harder. My guess, this team next year win's 8 games with last years schedule.

Also I think the east is also much better than last year.

UGA - even
Tennessee - better
USC - better
Florida - Even
Vandy - even.

So While we got better- so did the east

My biggest issue with Drink is that he's not big on the portal. He would rather use his really good recruiting classes. The biggest problem with that, it takes most kids 2 years to get to the level in which is needed.
