If memory serves they changed the name after 9/11 and the Afghanistan war. Kinda like the way Budweiser’s “Real American Heroes” campaign was changed to “Real Men of Genius”. People were leery of using those terms at the time. I would like to go back to Border War myself.

Now the next step is to make this our annual out of conference rival like Florida-FSU, Georgia-GA Tech, and South Carolina-Clemson.
