As a mizzou fan I don't know how you root for OU here. We want UT to win and then beat a quality UT team. Doesn't do us much good beating .500 teams

No offense to any UT fans here, but from a Missouri perspective I don't just want UT and their Big 6 / Blueblood tradition crushed, I want it destroyed permanently.

And other than leaning on their history, Tennessee is in no better recruiting position than Missouri, Arkansas, etc. are, geographically speaking. I want them to go the way of Nebraska or worse. Keep Hope Snuffed.

Sorry, but they're spot at the big boy table is up for grabs and I want it for Missouri.

As a betting man, the smart money is on OU. Tennessee's defense looked terrible against a bad team, OU is going in dry tomorrow.

Yes, not everyone can contend for the East, there are so many spots. Mizzou's best bet is to take Tennessee's spot in the pecking order. Florida will be back simply because of where they are and UGA isn't going anywhere.

However, I don't think beating OU means all that much.

No simple answer....as an opponent in the same division, a loss for them. could be a boost for us. But Stoops is such an arse....Go Vols!

Truthfully, I am much more concerned about Mizzou vs AKS. I know Mauk has a 15-4 record as a starter, but consistency is not his forte.

You're not in the Big 8+4-2-2+2 anymore. When we were in that conference I would agree to root for other conference teams.

Today, we are in a different mindset. Root for Tennessee to smash ZeroU and then we have a chance to beat Tennessee later. We want BigBevo Conference to look like shite and the SEC to dominate.

Hopefully, the following formula will prevail.
Mizzou > Tennessee > ZeroU

eh the issue is UT plays a lot of games before we play them, and they're going to lose a good number of them. Us beating UT isn't going to be a big deal. UGA is the mark this year.
