2 of the 3 best players for next season aren’t even playing. The Smiths Dru and Mark.

You could have a Freshman Michael Jordan on this team and we’d maybe have three more wins.

Shot 48% from 3 and had an assist rate near 40%. Yea that will be a big help.

When the entire roster is a hole, it’s shocking that it would take more than 1 year to get competitive. Just shocking

Absolutely terrible display tonight. 49 fricking points. Cuonzo’s offense fricking sucks, bigly.

He better pull in a huge class next year because only massive amounts of talent will ever be able to overcome whatever it is he’s trying to do on offense. Should have hired Musselman

He allows his assistants to run the offense. They need players with some athletic abilities next year besides McKinney and Jackson. I hate to do this, but I would help Nikko and M. Smith find another school. There is still some good ones out there plus JUCO.

Yea Musselman would have been great. It also would have still taken him time to get Mizzou to be competitive. Especially with the 3 best players that have been brought in not playing.

No one wants to win 12 games a year, but if doing so this year puts Mizzou in position to win 25+ over an extended stretch its worth it.

MSU got 42 points from juniors and seniors, Mizzou got 9.

Freshman and sophomores Mizzou got 40 to 26 to MSU.

Look, I give him a pass this year in terms of the results. The team sucks. It is what it is.

That doesn’t mean I’m not seeing some very disturbing trends. His offense sucks, has always sucked, and I just don’t see him adjusting. He’s going to have to out talent his own coaching. The good news is he might be able to do it

TThe offense is different than he ran at Tennessee and Cal.

Personally I think he knows he doesn’t have the horses to win this year playing the way he wants. Let’s see if the pace and tempo pick up as he gets better players.

Wasn’t that bad last season. It’s also never had a game yet where he had 5 guys that can score Mizzou has gone with a lot of 3 on 5 because of the talent on the roster. Still hasn’t had a player that can consistently take his guy off the bounce.

Eventually his recruiting and development will have to get there. If not you will see the bubble as the best he can do.

I still have a problem with you criticizing a non-football coach. You will defend Odom if the football team finished 0-12. I'm not trying to dog you, but just trying to understand you

I’ve been critical of Odom many times, and no I would not defend them if they went 0-12. That’s nonsense.

Frankly, I just don’t like Zo’s style of basketball. It’s plodding. Again though, if we win then I’ll be fine with it. I’m having doubts that we will, but he deserves time to build his program. Just like any coach.

I don’t think the style will be as plodding once he gets more talent to Mizzou.

As plodding? Almost certainly not.

We need to be a lot better next year. Let’s just say that.
