Staff turnover

The absence of staff turnover has been a hallmark of the GP era. I think there will be a bunch this offseason.
Defense
I have long thought that Odom would only be here a year. He probably gets a HC job this offseason. I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't take 1 of the defensive assistants with him to be his DC. He brought Walters with him from Memphis.
If Odom leaves Kul has to be the DC in his place, otherwise he leaves.
So there are probably at least 2 defensive assistants that leave after the year.
Offense
Henson and Ricker have to be the obvious ones here. Both have underperformed. If GP brings Christiansen back maybe only 1 of those 2 leave. If it's some one else there could be a major offensive overhaul.
It wouldn't surprise me if there are 4-5 new assistant coaches next year.

I think there's a reason Pinkel hasn't made Kul his DC. I don't know what it is, but I'm fairly certain if he quits after this year we're going to lose a lot of recruits.
Odom might go to Memphis, he might get a better offer somewhere else.
Offense, I don't think anything changes. I think Pinkel plays it off as a "Mauk was our leader and he got suspended, it's not our fault the offense was bad".

The other option for the offense is to go back to 2 OL coaches. Have Henson tutor Ricker. Ricker has value as a recruiter. Prior to this year an offensive GA coached the TEs.
Then get Lock to spend a few weeks out in Cali with George Whitfield or one of the other QB gurus.

I could be wrong, but I think Kul's experience in coaching defense is the DL only. Steck had coached around defenses in various positions. So, when the DC before Steck left, Steck was his choice. Kul has still, under Pinkel, only coached the line IF I'm remembering correctly. When Steck left, I think Pinkel wanted someone more well rounded as DC - especially knowing the triple-option is our kryptonite and we will see those offenses from time to time in the SEC.
Like I said, I could be wrong. But I think Kul is maybe the best position coach for DL in the country, but maybe Pinkel doesn't think he's well-rounded enough to be DC. If we lose Odom, maybe he finally gets his shot. Personally, I hope and pray we don't lose Odom.
As far as offense goes, the only one I'd hate to see leave is Andy Hill, and he's not going anywhere.

I'm afraid he's also going to need a sports psychologist. He probably wakes up screaming at night, dreaming of big DLinemen coming at him and his OL stepping aside and saying
"excuse me, let me get out of your way!"

Where would this team be with even last years average offense and this defense?
