Spring 2014 - Black and Gold Game

It may seem too early for this, but it's only 3 months away. I've never been to one, but we are thinking about going this year. Anyone who has been before, what are your impressions? It is Easter weekend, so campus will be quiet.

I was wanting to check out the game this year too. Heard Printz has been working out with the QB specialist during the break and saw he had Cris Carter running routes for him the other day. Everyone assumes Mauk is the guy but I think Printz can make a push for the job.

Do you buy tickets with seat assignments or do they just throw the doors open and let folks sit wherever? Sounds like there were less than 20,000 there last year.

Couldn't find anything on 2014.
For 2013 the information was:
Stadium gate (3 West only) open to general public
Admission: $3 (NOTE: CASH ONLY) or 3 canned/boxed food items benefiting The Food Bank; Mizzou students get in free
the game is scheduled April 19th this year.

That's the way they usually do it. No assigned seating, low admission which they waive with 2 cans of food for the Food Pantry. They also do the tent sale that weekend, which is very cool - lots of used equipment and uniforms, team store stuff, shoes - all for really cheap. There are people who tailgate too. It's a fun day.
