I heard this during last season when I heard that he wasn't pleased with not getting much playing time.

He should have been mad at the last regime, and came into the new coaching staff angry and ready to prove them wrong. He will basically be throwing a year away.

He must be getting the dumbest advice possible.

Wouldn't surprise me. He's had academic problems all along. May be something to that.

RB could get pretty dam thin real quick if Strong doesn't make it.

pretty soft for him to leave with the starting spot right there and wide open.

My guess is the guy has serious attitude problems. There's a reason that Witter was playing over him last year, and it damn well wasn't because of their potential.

Maybe our coaches blew it with him.

Maybe he blew it with our coaches.

Final result: we lose a talented running back.

Could have also been grades. I know someone over at FZS and said school was a struggle for him.

Let's just say, he never proved himself.
1. Went to Juco.
2. Even screwed up not finishing school on time causing him to go to summer school and graduate when he should have been working out and start camp on time.
3. showed up overweight and out of shape

I'd rather him leave now than later.

Anyone remember Marcus Dupree?

Not saying CA was as talented as MD but talent will only get you so far then work ethic takes over.

Kind of curious why this hasn't been officially announced yet.

We have practice today, not sure if it's open to media but hopefully someone can ask Odom about it.

No way he plays d1 again. I could see him going to Lindenwood tho.

How do you know that he won't go D1 again? He looked pretty good running the ball to me last year the few times that he ran it.

Not going to knock the kid and i wish him the best in his future endeavors.

between grades, attitude, and the fact if he transfer's he'll have to sit out yet again.

You have a lot of faith in fallible people and none in the kids. It's cool.

Meh, this is a kid who barely made it out of JUCO. Then came in out of shape. Then quits when the starting RB spot is right there for the taking.

Sucks we lost him because he has talent, but just doesn't seem to have the drive.

I didn't mean it that way but in this SJW world I'm going to bet that the coaches didn't call him a name to make him quit. Also just saw B.O.'s interview saying Chase is quitting football not just Mizzou football. Same with Malik.

News reported Abbington is staying at Mizzou, but not participating on the football team. There's that.
